This is a senior-level architecture opportunity for an experienced networking professional responsible for shaping complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure strategies. You’ll design secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions across LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, influencing technology standards, roadmaps, modernization programs, and transformation initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, engineering teams, business stakeholders, vendors, cloud providers, and global partners. Your expertise will be critical in solving complex connectivity and performance challenges while preparing infrastructure for future growth. This position is ideal for a hands-on network architect who can translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and provide expert guidance across a global organization.
Lead the architecture and design of advanced network solutions spanning LAN, WAN, data centers, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing network architectures aligned with current and future business requirements.
Define network technology standards, architecture principles, best practices, technical guidelines, and long-term technology roadmaps.
Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend solutions based on business priorities, technical requirements, security, performance, and scalability.
Lead strategic network initiatives, including transformation, modernization, migration, optimization, and infrastructure evolution.
Manage complex network projects from initiation through completion, ensuring objectives, resources, timelines, and milestones remain on track.
Partner with senior leadership, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional groups to ensure network strategies support broader organizational goals.
Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex architecture, connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architectural guidance, and knowledge sharing to network engineering and operations teams.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with network vendors, ISPs, cloud providers, service providers, and technology partners.
Evaluate vendor solutions and offerings and provide recommendations aligned with technical and organizational requirements.
Optimize network performance through traffic analysis, QoS strategies, capacity planning, resilience improvements, and availability enhancements.
Lead architecture reviews and ensure network designs comply with enterprise standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.
Create and maintain high-level technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, configuration templates, standards, and technical guidelines.
Provide architectural direction for capacity planning and ensure infrastructure can support anticipated business growth and evolving technology requirements.
15–18+ years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, security, and progressively responsible technical leadership roles.
Active CCIE certification is mandatory, with Enterprise Infrastructure, Service Provider, or Security specializations preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Expert-level experience with Cisco networking and complex enterprise network environments.
Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN, SD-WAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, and related advanced networking technologies.
Extensive experience designing and architecting enterprise LAN, WAN, Internet, data center, and hybrid cloud networks.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS networking, with relevant cloud certifications considered an advantage.
Extensive knowledge of network security architecture, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, network segmentation, and secure connectivity.
Proven experience with SD-WAN, SDN, network modernization, migration, transformation, and optimization initiatives.
Strong hands-on understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, cloud networking technologies, and network monitoring and performance-management tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale network architecture programs and provide technical direction to engineering and operations teams.
Experience working with vendors, ISPs, cloud providers, technology partners, and globally distributed stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve highly complex network issues.
Ability to translate business requirements into secure, resilient, scalable network architectures and align technology roadmaps with organizational objectives.
Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders across different time zones.
