This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Application Users - AutoCAD Mechanical on Windows based in India.

This fully remote opportunity is designed for professionals with practical, real-world experience using AutoCAD Mechanical in engineering and design environments. You will bring your specialized application expertise to projects focused on training and improving advanced AI systems. Your knowledge of 2D mechanical drafting, detailing, and engineering standards will contribute directly to the quality of these projects. The role provides the flexibility to work independently and complete assignments around your own schedule. You will use your existing Windows-based setup and professional experience to deliver accurate, high-quality project work. It is an opportunity to apply your technical skills to emerging AI technologies while maintaining the flexibility of independent contract work.

• Apply hands-on expertise in AutoCAD Mechanical to complete specialized project assignments involving mechanical drafting and detailing.
• Use the application on your own Windows PC, ensuring that the required software is installed, accessible, and ready for use.
• Apply knowledge of 2D mechanical design, drafting conventions, engineering standards, manufacturing, tooling, and related workflows where relevant.
• Produce accurate and consistent project outputs while following detailed technical instructions and quality requirements.
• Capture high-resolution screenshots or other visual outputs as required, meeting the specified technical requirements.
• Contribute specialized domain knowledge to projects designed to evaluate, train, and improve advanced AI systems.
• Work independently and manage assignments effectively within a flexible, remote working environment.
• Adapt to changing project scopes, recognizing that assignments may be extended, shortened, or concluded depending on project requirements and performance.
• Protect professional confidentiality by ensuring that project activities do not involve confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, or institution.
• Communicate clearly regarding project progress, requirements, and any technical issues that may affect delivery.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated hands-on, real-world experience with AutoCAD Mechanical in a professional engineering, drafting, manufacturing, tooling, or product-design context.
• You must already have AutoCAD Mechanical installed and available on your own Windows PC and be able to open and use the application.
• Candidates are responsible for providing their own software access, Windows computer, and hardware setup; licenses, virtual machines, and hardware are not provided.
• Ability to capture screenshots exceeding 2.5 megapixels using either a qualifying high-resolution single monitor or a qualifying dual-monitor configuration.
• Strong understanding of 2D mechanical drafting and detailing and familiarity with relevant engineering standards and design practices.
• Experience in areas such as mechanical design, manufacturing, tooling, engineering documentation, or technical drafting is highly relevant.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical guidelines accurately and consistently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on specialized assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Ability to manage your own schedule, prioritize tasks, and meet project expectations without continuous supervision.
• Candidates must be able to work as independent contractors.
