Cloud Engineer III – Email Security

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Pune, Trivandrum area.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Automation & Orchestration Skillset 
  • Playbook Development: Build serverless, event-driven security workflows triggered by Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR incidents, or webhook alerts. 
  • Graph API & REST Integration: Use HTTP actions and managed connectors to interact directly with Microsoft Graph Security API for user isolation, message purging, and risk flagging. 
•  (Next-Gen AI/SOAR) 
  • No-Code/Low-Code Workflow Building: Rapidly assemble complex, multi-step triage and remediation pipelines using visual canvas builders. 
  • Agentic AI Integration: Leverage AI-driven hyper agents to autonomously triage suspicious email submissions, reason through threat context, and execute live mitigation without rigid static playbooks. 
  • Ecosystem Bridging: Connect MDO alerts natively with 300+ third-party tools (ITSM like ServiceNow, threat intelligence feeds, or secondary EDRs) to instantly pull file hashes, check URL reputations, and close feedback loops 
• Microsoft Power Automate (Governance & Notification Workflows) 
  • Human-in-the-Loop Approvals: Construct approval-based workflows that ping security managers or SOC leads via Microsoft Teams/email before executing destructive actions (e.g., disabling compromised accounts). 
  • App Governance & Alert Sync: Use standard/premium connectors linked with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps or M365 compliance logs to automate standard operational governance tasks 

What we’re looking for

• Education: B.E/B.Tech/Graduate/ 
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience. 
• Knowledge of DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their impact on email security. 
• Proficiency in Email Message Header Analysis.  
• Solid grasp of mail flow routing, SMTP mechanics, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration, and enterprise tenant security posture. 
• Experience in managing Exchange servers, user mailboxes, and transport rules and Familiarity with monitoring email traffic, generating security reports, and ensuring compliance. 
• Ability to handle email security incidents, investigate threats, and implement necessary actions. 
• Email Security Solutions: Proficiency in managing and maintaining email security solutions like Cisco ESAs and SMAs, Exchange Online, M365 Defender, Fortra Agari and RedSift. 
• Incident Response: Experience with incident response tools and methodologies to handle security breaches effectively. 
• Security Protocols: Understanding email security protocols and standards such as DMARC, DKIM, and SPF. 
• Threat Intelligence: Ability to leverage threat intelligence platforms to identify and mitigate potential threats. 
• Security Auditing: Experience with security auditing tools and methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues. 
• Cloud Security: Understanding of cloud security principles and technologies, especially in relation to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online. 
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to email security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
