About the role  

As a Security Engineer III – Microsoft Security, you will lead advanced Microsoft security engineering across Defender, Sentinel, Azure, and Intune environments. We will count on you to optimize security controls, investigate complex incidents, automate response, and guide junior engineers and SOC teams. Along the way, you will get to:  

• Configure and optimize Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and advanced threat protection policies. 

• Architect and maintain Microsoft Sentinel workbooks, analytics rules, KQL hunting queries, integrations, and automation playbooks. 

• Implement Azure and Intune security controls, compliance profiles, CIS-aligned baselines, device management, and Defender integrations. 

• Lead L3 incident triage, forensic investigation, remediation, health checks, configuration audits, and security optimization across Microsoft platforms. 

What we’re looking for 

• B.E., B.Tech., or graduate qualification in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with 4–6 years in cybersecurity and at least 3 years in advanced Microsoft security engineering. 

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure security, Intune, Defender for Cloud, and KQL-based threat hunting. 

• Experience with incident response, security automation, endpoint protection, email security, cloud security, and recognized frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust. 

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, leadership, and mentoring skills; SC-200 and AZ-500 certifications are preferred.
