Job Description

The overall responsibility is to maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) across the organization. Ensure the Production team is following the right quality to manufacture the products, adhering to the process requirements. You will also be responsible for New Product Development within the Factory and Local vendors. You will report to Quality Team Lead and follow a onsite working schedule in India Kancheepuram.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain and Improve the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 standard and Internal CUBIC Procedures
• Perform Internal Audit and actively manage ISO audit and Customer audit
• Educate, train and engage operators for QMS Improvement, Drive Zero defect culture and ensure the Product/Process requirements are met
• Non-Conformity handling and engaging CFT team to perform RCA and Corrective Action for all Internal defects and Customer complaints
• NPI introduction in both units, making PPAP documentation and getting PSW Approval from Customers
• Conducting Process and Product Audit and Implementing Continuous Process Improvements
• Vendor Quality Management includes Vendor Qualification Audits, Process Audits and PPAP Audit
• Vendor Performance Monitoring and develop Vendors for Improvement and to adhere to CUBIC requirements
• New Product Development through Localization with New/existing Vendor that includes Vendor Evaluation, Sample Inspection, follow up with Global R&D for critical parts form, fit and function approval, PPAP Documentation review and PSW sign off
• Managing Customer and Certification Audits
• Assist Manager in daily operations and ensuring the Production and Delivery plan is met

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• B.E or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile
• The ability to travel 20-30% of the time (within India)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 8 or more years of experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Experience in New Product Development and ISO Documentation.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and Six Sigma Certification will be added advantage.
