- Implement and maintain enterprise virtualization standards, architecture, security hardening, and operational procedures.
- Configure and manage vSAN clusters, storage policies, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Design and administer NSX-T distributed networking, security policies, micro-segmentation, and related network services.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, availability, and performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot complex virtualization, networking, storage, compute, and platform-level issues.
- Implement and support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience requirements.
- Coordinate integrations between VCF and adjacent platforms, including HCI, hardware infrastructure, automation tools, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with architecture, networking, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet business, technical, security, and compliance requirements.
- Support enterprise Windows and Linux environments that integrate with the VMware platform.
- Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MFA, and Group Policy.
- Contribute to automation and orchestration initiatives using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.

- Mentor junior engineers on VMware architecture, VCF operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure best practices.
- Participate in technology evaluations and stay current with VMware product roadmaps, licensing changes, and emerging virtualization technologies.
