The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure Project Engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about building, automating, and operating reliable enterprise-scale infrastructure across hybrid and multi cloud environments.

As part of a Core Infra team, primarily responsible for the engineering, configuration, installation, and maintenance of; Windows physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, Azure cloud and on-prem environments based on Hyper-V/VMWare, storage, backups, and disaster recovery planning. We rely on our engineers to empower our users with high availability, excellent performance levels and key services. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced project engineer to deliver insights and guidance as we design, build, and operate state-of-the-art multi-cloud infrastructures. Of most interest to us is someone who brings ideas and solutions, a lateral thinker, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world IT service.            .

What You'll Do

• Deliver enterprise infrastructure projects involving Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, PKI, Storage, Backup, VMware, and Hyper-V technologies.
• Lead migration, transformation, and modernization initiatives across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions aligned with business and architectural requirements.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption using PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible technologies.
• Collaborate with Architects on technical designs, migration plans, implementation procedures, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure, security, and application teams to execute complex cross-functional projects.
• Contribute to cloud adoption, identity modernization, datacenter transformation, and infrastructure standardization programs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve service delivery, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure successful project execution through planning, testing, deployment, knowledge transfer to platform support team, and stakeholder engagement.

 

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise Microsoft infrastructure administration and engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server environments.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Active Directory.
• 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
• Experience with GCP & AWS Cloud platforms is an added benefit
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
• Experience with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring solutions.

Technical Skills

We are looking for candidates with experience in several of the following areas:

• Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services
• Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and VMware)
• Core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and NPS
• PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Exposure to configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible
• Linux system administration
• Enterprise monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
• Storage technologies and infrastructure management
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex infrastructure issues

Additional Technical Knowledge

Experience or exposure in the following areas is considered a strong advantage:

• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins
• Bare-metal server administration (iLO, iDRAC, firmware management)
• Security and identity management best practices

• Microsoft Certified Professional certifications (Azure, Windows Server, Identity, or Security).
• VMware certifications.
• Terraform Associate certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification (Nice to have)
