Member of Applied AI - Strategist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Member of Applied AI - Strategist based in India.

This role serves as a lead technical strategist embedded with enterprise customers to turn complex business challenges into practical AI-driven transformation initiatives. You will own solution design from understanding customer domains and objectives through architecting scalable AI workflows, agents, and integrations. The position combines enterprise architecture, generative AI, SaaS platforms, consulting, and customer partnership. You will work across pre-sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams to translate business requirements into measurable technical outcomes. A strong focus on modularity and reusability will help create solutions that can scale across customers and industries. This is a highly customer-facing opportunity, with approximately 80–90% travel to client locations and significant influence over AI adoption and deployment.

• Own customer context by developing a deep understanding of business domains, technology environments, strategic objectives, OKRs, and KPIs to guide effective AI solution design.
• Architect AI-driven transformation initiatives by designing and documenting intelligent workflows, agents, skills, integrations, and supporting system architectures aligned with customer goals and industry practices.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing clear guidance on AI capabilities, solution approaches, technical trade-offs, and implementation considerations.
• Bridge pre-sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams by translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications and ensuring expected outcomes are clearly defined and measurable.
• Design modular and reusable architectures that can scale across customers, business domains, and industry verticals while supporting extensibility and long-term evolution.
• Partner with Applied AI engineers throughout implementation to provide architectural direction, resolve technical challenges, and maintain alignment between the intended solution and delivered outcomes.
• Support pre-sales activities by helping scope opportunities, define technical requirements, assess feasibility and effort, and shape solution approaches with sales engineering and customer teams.
• Monitor developments in generative AI, software integration, enterprise architecture, and business transformation to introduce relevant innovations into customer solution strategies.
• Define and track solution success through measurable business outcomes, OKRs, KPIs, and adoption metrics, using data to guide continuous improvement.
• Ensure proposed and deployed solutions meet appropriate performance, security, compliance, scalability, and quality standards.
• Travel approximately 80–90% to client locations to work directly with customer teams, understand their operational needs, shape AI solutions, and support successful adoption and deployment.

Requirements

• Bring 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or comparable customer-facing roles involving enterprise-scale software implementations.
• Have hands-on experience with generative AI tools, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and modern integration patterns including APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex customer priorities and business requirements into practical technical strategies and execution plans.
• Possess strong architecture and design-thinking skills, with the ability to develop scalable, modular, maintainable, and future-ready solutions.
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior technical stakeholders and non-technical decision-makers.
• Have experience leading projects, managing multiple solution tracks, coordinating timelines, and using structured project planning methodologies.
• Demonstrate a strong metrics-oriented approach, with experience defining and tracking OKRs, KPIs, adoption metrics, and tangible business outcomes.
• Bring experience with SaaS or enterprise platforms and a solid understanding of platform extensibility, integrations, and multi-tenant architecture principles.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in AI or architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe are a plus.
• Be comfortable with frequent travel and sustained customer engagement, including approximately 80–90% travel to client locations across business requirements.
• Demonstrate strong customer empathy, adaptability, collaboration, and ownership when operating across technical, commercial, and organizational environments.
