Documents Voice and Chat Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Documents Voice and Chat Specialist based in India.

As a Documents Voice and Chat Specialist, you will provide frontline support to workers through phone, chat, and email while reviewing and processing sensitive documentation. You will play an important role in maintaining document accuracy, compliance, safety, and marketplace quality. The position combines customer communication with detailed document validation and structured issue resolution. You will follow established procedures, make sound decisions when information is incomplete, and escalate potential concerns appropriately. Working in a fast-paced remote environment, you will collaborate with Quality Assurance, Training, and subject-matter experts to improve processes. Your work will directly contribute to a reliable customer experience and high operational standards.

• Engage with workers through phone, chat, and email to resolve discrepancies, verify missing information, and guide them through document submission.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, integrity, expiration, and compliance with established procedures and applicable standards.
• Identify unclear, potentially inauthentic, or non-compliant documents and escalate them according to defined processes.
• Follow validation checklists, accurately tag documents, and record outcomes in internal systems.
• Maintain accurate notes, update tickets, and document resolution steps clearly and consistently.
• Monitor recurring issues and communicate relevant trends or operational insights to management.
• Collaborate with Training, Quality Assurance, and subject-matter experts to refine workflows and address systemic issues.

Requirements:

• Experience in trust and safety, document verification, compliance operations, credentialing, customer support, or a similar function, preferably in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies others may overlook.
• Ability to make timely and well-reasoned decisions when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex or sensitive topics clearly and empathetically.
• Highly organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining aligned with team objectives.
• Comfortable using tools such as Slack, Google Sheets, and ticketing or task-management systems.
• Collaborative mindset and openness to giving and receiving feedback to continuously improve processes.
• Ability to work a five-day schedule within a seven-day operating model, including Saturday and Sunday availability when required.
• Willingness to work the currently planned Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PT shift, with the understanding that schedules may change.

• Reliable internet connectivity and backup power or internet are recommended for remote work.
• Hiring assessment uses synthetic, non-real-world data and is sent by email within 1–2 days after applying.
