Our Client is a German-based technology company founded in 2000, offering a high-performance, in-memory, massively parallel processing (MPP) analytics database for data warehousing, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) workloads
Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and on-prem infrastructure. The role requires a senior individual contributor who can build, automate, and manage scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native platforms. Strong troubleshooting and ownership mindset are key.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure and hybrid (cloud + on-prem) environments
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation
Automate infrastructure and operations using Python, Bash, and Ansible
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)
Manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Handle production issues and lead incident resolution
Implement DevSecOps best practices including access control and secret management
Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and IT teams to improve developer experience
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering
Strong Linux expertise (Ubuntu / CentOS / Rocky Linux)
Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch
Experience managing hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem)
Good to Have
Experience with security-focused architectures (DevSecOps / Zero Trust)
Exposure to large-scale or distributed systems
