Technical Lead-Power Apps and Power Automate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Lead-Power Apps and Power Automate based in India.

This role provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise across Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate in a customer-facing support environment.
You will lead a technical team while remaining hands-on with complex troubleshooting, escalations, and case resolution.
The position covers Canvas and model-driven apps, Dataverse, connectors, environments, cloud flows, desktop flows, RPA, and integrations.
You will diagnose issues using error messages, telemetry, run histories, logs, and reproducible test scenarios rather than trial and error.
The role combines team mentoring, quality oversight, customer communication, technical escalation management, and support process adherence.
You will contribute reusable solutions and knowledge-base content while helping maintain response times, resolution quality, and customer satisfaction.
This is a fully remote, full-time position requiring rotational shift flexibility and availability for business travel.

• Lead and manage the technical team responsible for Power Apps and Power Automate support cases.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance for complex issues involving Canvas and model-driven apps, formulas, expressions, delegation, controls, performance, and load times.
• Troubleshoot data sources, connectors, authentication, refresh failures, connector limits, throttling, and integration issues.
• Diagnose Dataverse configuration, relationships, security roles, row-level permissions, business rules, environments, and application lifecycle management challenges.
• Resolve Power Automate issues involving triggers, run history, expressions, dynamic content, loops, concurrency, approvals, schedules, and integrations.
• Support Power Automate Desktop and RPA issues, including machine registration, unattended execution, credentials, gateways, and related failures.
• Investigate throttling, API limits, retry policies, performance concerns, DLP policy blocks, licensing, and governance-related issues.
• Reproduce reported issues in a controlled environment before determining the root cause and resolution.
• Review technical resolutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established support standards.
• Take ownership of complex technical escalations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to achieve timely resolution.
• Mentor team members, strengthen troubleshooting capabilities, and provide ongoing technical coaching.
• Ensure clear case documentation, customer-facing updates, evidence-based escalations, and adherence to SLAs and support processes.
• Develop reusable technical solutions and contribute knowledge articles and troubleshooting guidance to the knowledge base.
• Monitor team performance against response time, resolution quality, customer satisfaction, and operational standards.
• Support onboarding, client-specific training, certification requirements, and readiness for live case handling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead role with demonstrated team-management responsibilities.
• 3+ years of practical experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate in real-world environments.
• Hands-on experience with both Canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
• Working knowledge of Dataverse, connectors, environments, Power Platform security, licensing, and governance concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret error messages, run histories, telemetry, and logs to identify root causes.
• Experience handling technical escalations in a customer-facing support, service desk, or SLA-driven environment is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, particularly for direct customer interaction.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, communication, and team-management capabilities.
• Ability to review technical solutions critically and maintain high standards for resolution quality and documentation.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Azure, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 are preferred.
• Additional language capabilities beyond English are an advantage.
• Comfortable working within defined security, data-handling, monitoring, and operational requirements.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts according to business and customer requirements.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a suitable working computer, and a quiet home-working environment.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, customer focus, and attention to technical detail.
