Job description
ob Title: Technician – Module Quality (IPQC / FQC / IQC)
Location: Nagpur
Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Solar Manufacturing
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics or related field)
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) checks during module manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) of raw materials, components, and consumables.
Carry out Final Quality Control (FQC) inspections of finished solar modules as per industry standards and customer requirements.
Monitor and analyze quality data to identify process deviations and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Support implementation of quality systems, SOPs, and inspection protocols in the production line.
Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of quality inspection instruments.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, documentation, and quality records for audits.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process for defect reduction.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with IPQC, FQC, IQC methods and tools.
Familiarity with ISO / IEC / BIS standards applicable to solar modules.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
