This role is for an internship in the engineering team.

Responsibilities

While the specific project will depend on your team, the core of your internship will involve:

• First-Principle Problem Solving: Breaking down complex engineering challenges into fundamental truths to find innovative solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with "Chief Engineers" and specialists to understand how your component or process impacts the entire vehicle ecosystem.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Using simulation, testing, or shop-floor data to validate designs and improve efficiency.

• Process Ownership: Assisting in the design of assembly lines, quality gates, or software modules that scale our production.

• Agile Execution: Operating in an Agile R&D environment where we move fast, but don't break things.  

Experience and Qualifications

• Product Development & R&D: (Chassis, Battery Engineering, Hardware, Circuits, Firmware, Simulation CoC, Web Tech & Intelligence).

• Manufacturing & Industrial Excellence: (Manufacturing Engineering - Assembly/Components, Digital Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, EHSS).

• Quality & Systems: (System Engineering, Quality, Product Validation, Engineering Systems).

• Supply Chain & Operations: (Logistics, Warehouse Management, Direct/Indirect Materials, Hardware & Packaging).

Must Have Competencies

• Engineering Intuition: A strong grasp of your core engineering fundamentals, regardless of your branch.

• The "Maker" Mindset: Have you built a drone? Coded an app? Fixed a gearbox? We value hands-on experience and the itch to build.

• Analytical Rigor: Ability to use tools (CAD, Python, Excel, MATLAB, etc.) to back your ideas with data.

Good to Have Competencies

• Ambiguity Seekers: You are comfortable with "not knowing" and have the persistence to figure it out.

• Alignment with "Think as a Species": You believe that "none of us is as smart as all of us" and enjoy collaborating without hierarchy.
