Job Summary:
The SailPoint Support person is responsible for providing technical support and expertise for SailPoint IdentityIQ. This role involves resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, and maintaining the stability and performance of our identity governance solution. The SailPoint resource will work closely with other IT teams and onshore SailPoint engineers to ensure secure and efficient access to systems and applications, playing a critical role in our identity and access management (IAM) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide technical support for SailPoint IdentityIQ, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, certifications, and compliance.
•Monitor SailPoint system health and performance, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively.
•Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through the established ticketing system, adhering to defined SLAs.
•Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and system checks for the SailPoint environment.
•Assist in the configuration and development of SailPoint components, such as connectors, workflows, rules, and reports.
•Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate new systems and applications with SailPoint.
•Develop and maintain technical documentation, including support procedures, knowledge base articles, and system configurations.
•Participate in on-call rotation as needed to provide after-hours support for critical incidents.
•Contribute to the continuous improvement of SailPoint operations and IAM processes.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
•5+ years of experience in IT support, with 3+ years specifically supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
•Demonstrated experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ is essential.
•Experience with other IAM concepts and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA) is a plus.
•Technical Skills:
•Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications.
•Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, BeanShell, or other scripting languages relevant to SailPoint.
•Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL queries.
•Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations.
•Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
•SailPoint certification (e.g., SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer).
•Experience with ITIL framework and service management best practices.
