Role Summary:

Bandhan Life Insurance Company is seeking to fill a position with an expert who would help us deliver leading edge internet scale digital solutions, working on all parts of the tech stack. We are looking for Rockstar DevOps engineer(s) who could lead and author change while influencing peers and stakeholders in our journey to build the next generation digital insurance platform and applications. You will work closely with Delivery head, Architects and technical leads to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

Key Focus areas:

·       Design and implement reusable web components

·       Improve Continuous delivery, Security and Cost efficiency

·       Improve CI/CD tooling.

·       Automated Release and change management.

·       Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.

·       Build and maintain highly available systems.

·       Manage Infrastructure using AWS cloud

·       Manage and evolve DevOps toolchain.

·       Collaborate with other distributed teams and stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices

·       Innovate on the operationalization of the design, and deliver the product as per specs

·       Enumerate best practices for code management like code documentation, reviews and unit tests

Qualifications & Competencies:

·       Experience of 5 to 8 years

·       An engineering major with a degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science or software engineering

·       Strong development or scripting background.

·       Automating production infrastructure with Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.

·       Experience with Container and its Orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

·       Cognitive about designing, deploying and operating highly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

·       Extensively worked using AWS services along with wide and in depth understanding of five pillars of AWS Well-Architected Framework.

·       Highly skilled in deployment, data security and troubleshooting of the applications using AWS services.

·       Knowledge of API design, SQL and NoSQL databases will be preferred

·       Python scripting skill nice to have.

·       Demonstrate ability to learn new skills
