Opportunity Summary

We’re looking for a self-motivated Full Stack Developer with top-notch software design and development skills to join Upland India as a Sr Software Engineer II for our Upland SSO team. This person needs to be able to operate in a fast-paced environment, assimilate quickly and develop solutions with minimal oversight. We want someone who is a great team player. What would you do?

• Develop new features using multiple technologies across both front and back end
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development while validating output for correctness and quality
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with your code and production environments
• Collaborate with team members to establish objectives and design more cohesive code
• Be an active participant in peer reviews of code

What are we looking for?

Technical Skills

The following skills are needed for this role.

Experience	· 5-7 years
Primary Skills (2-3 mandatory skills)	· VueJS 2+ · Laravel 10+ · PHP 8+ · Relations database design (MSSQL, Postgres, MySql)
Secondary Skills (nice to have)	· Docker · Experience with data caching best practices · Experience with Amazon Web Services · Experience with Snowflake · Experience with OpenAI (or similar) · Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production apps (model APIs, RAG, embeddings, or agentic workflows)
Soft Skills	· Thrives collaborating in a team environment with a diverse range of people · Passionate about delivering an amazing customer experience · Able to have a change of mind, and able to change the minds of others · Writes clearly and concisely · Capable of working without a company office, with a fully remote team
Growth Skills	· Possesses a good work ethic; a self-starter with a desire to grow · Always looking for better ways to get the job done

Qualification

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting. Upland India has the flexibility to manage your working hours accordingly to help in your work-life balance.
