BUILD AND SUPPORT DIGITAL PRODUCT LIFECYCLE SOLUTIONS THAT POWER ENGINEERING INNOVATION

Join Illumina Digital Services (IDS) and help build, configure, and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions that enable product development, engineering collaboration, and manufacturing readiness across the enterprise.

Working alongside experienced engineers and business teams, you will gain hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, product data management, enterprise integrations, AI-assisted engineering, and modern development practices while building a strong foundation for a career in PLM Engineering.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This role follows Illumina's hybrid work model and requires employees to work from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, product, and IT teams on enterprise-scale PLM solutions.
• Learn in an environment that emphasizes mentorship, innovation, and continuous development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support Teamcenter applications, workflows, and product lifecycle processes.
• Assist with Teamcenter configuration, customization, user administration, access controls, and workflow management.
• Develop and maintain Teamcenter extensions, integrations, automations, and business process enhancements.
• Support product data management, BOM management, CAD integrations, and engineering change processes.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, issue resolution, and platform support activities.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining quality, security, and data integrity.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Foundational programming skills using Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, databases, SQL, APIs, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, engineering systems, or workflow-based platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning.

PREFERRED EXPOSURE

• Teamcenter, PLM concepts, product data management, BOM management, engineering change processes, or workflow automation.
• CAD tools such as NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar engineering applications.
• Enterprise integrations, Agile practices, Git, CI/CD, or software engineering best practices.
• AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
