RevTech Senior Salesforce Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RevTech Senior Salesforce Developer based in India.

This role serves as the embedded technical partner for a go-to-market business function, owning solutions from discovery and design through development, testing, and production deployment. You will translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business needs into scalable technical solutions while working closely with non-technical stakeholders. The position combines deep Salesforce engineering with broader ownership of the GTM technology ecosystem, including integrations, custom applications, and automation. You will contribute to a modern Revenue Lifecycle Management environment covering CPQ, entitlements, renewals, commissions, billing, and connected platforms. The role also partners closely with Engineering on React and NestJS-based internal applications that expose and work with Salesforce data. With significant autonomy and visibility, you will help shape technical direction while using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high engineering standards.

• Act as the primary technical partner for an assigned GTM squad, developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and gaining a deep understanding of their workflows and technical needs.
• Lead the full solution lifecycle, from discovery and requirements clarification through solution design, documentation, development, testing, iteration, and production deployment.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, maintainable technical solutions while balancing declarative Salesforce capabilities with custom development.
• Partner with Engineering on internal GTM applications built with React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind, Apollo Client, NestJS, and GraphQL, securely exposing and synchronizing Salesforce data through APIs and services.
• Collaborate with AI Automation Engineers to support Salesforce-connected workflows and integrations built using automation platforms such as n8n.
• Contribute hands-on to Revenue Lifecycle Management solutions covering data modeling, custom CPQ capabilities, entitlements, renewal management, commissions, billing, and connected business platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party GTM systems, including customer engagement, sales, communication, document, billing, and collaboration platforms.
• Develop and maintain secure Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueable and scheduled processes, and other asynchronous workflows with meaningful automated test coverage.
• Build Lightning Web Components where native Salesforce UI extensions are appropriate while also supporting external applications that consume Salesforce data.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and follow structured release processes from sandbox environments through production.
• Apply AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, test validation, metadata management, and Salesforce configuration while critically reviewing generated output.
• Contribute to shared engineering standards and collaborate across RevTech, Engineering, automation, and business teams rather than operating in isolation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience with a strong track record of delivering production solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, including classes, triggers, batch, queueable, and schedulable processing, along with SOQL/SOSL and the Salesforce security model.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct discovery with non-technical stakeholders, clarify business requirements, develop solution designs, and document technical approaches.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business processes into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including experience exposing Salesforce data securely through APIs or services.
• Comfortable working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, as well as broader GTM technologies beyond Salesforce.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps workflows, GitHub, Gearset, code reviews, branching strategies, testing, and structured deployment processes.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants as part of daily development, including the ability to prompt effectively, validate generated code critically, and safely incorporate useful output into production solutions.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS Revenue Lifecycle Management, CPQ, Salesforce Flow at scale, and Omni-Channel is valuable.
• Experience owning or leading complex, custom-built Salesforce solutions rather than only contributing to existing implementations is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to modern web technologies such as React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind, React Router, Apollo Client, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis is beneficial.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate autonomously while working closely with business and technical teams.
• Ability to balance technical quality with business priorities and make sound decisions about when to use configuration, declarative automation, or custom code.
