Job description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security professional to provide L3 operational support, security administration, troubleshooting, and project delivery across a complex SAP landscape. The resource should have strong hands-on experience with SAP Security, SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control, SAP Fiori, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP BW, and SAP HANA Security.
The role will support daily security operations, access provisioning, role maintenance, audit compliance, incident resolution, and security-related project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP authorization, access, and security-related incidents.
- Create, modify, test, and maintain SAP single, composite, derived, and business roles.
- Perform user administration, role assignments, access reviews, and authorization troubleshooting.
- Support SAP GRC Access Control modules, including:
- Access Risk Analysis
- Access Request Management
- Emergency Access Management
- Business Role Management
- Support SAP GRC Process Control activities, including control monitoring, control testing, issue management, and compliance reporting.
- Analyze and resolve authorization issues using tools such as SU53, STAUTHTRACE, ST01, SU24, and PFCG.
- Support SAP Fiori security, including catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, OData services, ICF services, and Gateway authorizations.
- Maintain SAP BW and BW/4HANA security, including analysis authorizations, authorization objects, reporting access, and hierarchy-based restrictions.
- Support SAP HANA Security, including database roles, repository roles, HDI roles, object privileges, schema privileges, and analytical privileges.
- Administer SAP BusinessObjects security, including users, groups, folders, universes, reports, and row-level access.
- Perform Segregation of Duties analysis, risk remediation, mitigation control assignment, and firefighter access reviews.
- Support internal and external audits by providing access evidence, role details, SoD reports, and remediation updates.
- Assist with SAP upgrades, S/4HANA projects, role redesign, security testing, and production deployments.
- Coordinate with SAP Basis, Functional, Development, Audit, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams.
- Prepare security documentation, support procedures, test scripts, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Security.
- Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and Gateway Security.
- Experience with SAP BW or BW/4HANA analysis authorizations.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database and calculation-view security.
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects security and CMC administration.
- Strong understanding of role design, authorization concepts, least privilege, and Segregation of Duties.
- Experience supporting SOX controls, audits, access certifications, and compliance activities.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of SAP Security experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise SAP environments in an L2/L3 capacity.
- SAP Security, SAP GRC, CISA, CISM, or related certification is preferred.
