Your role
We, at Khatabook, are looking for an IT Engineerto join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-user IT support, managing user identities and access, administering endpoint devices, and ensuring secure and seamless IT operations across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide an excellent employee IT experience while maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
What would you do at Khatabook?
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
Configure and deploy Windows and macOS laptops for new employees.
Perform IT onboarding activities, including application provisioning and access setup.
Execute employee offboarding, including account deprovisioning, asset recovery, and laptop OS reinstallation.
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle records.
Administer user accounts and groups in Google Workspace and OneLogin.
Provision and deprovision user accounts based on business requirements.
Manage Active Directory users, groups, password resets, and account lifecycle activities.
Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Manage application access, security groups, and access policies.
Resolve authentication and identity-related issues.
Resolve L1/L2 IT support requests within defined SLAs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network, and peripheral issues.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate L2/L3 teams when required.
Deliver timely and professional technical support to employees across locations.
Support Microsoft Intune implementation and device enrollment.
Assist in Mac device management using Kandji, Jamf, or similar MDM platforms.
Troubleshoot endpoint management issues across Windows and macOS devices.
Ensure endpoint compliance with organizational security standards and policies.
Monitor endpoint security using SentinelOne and Sophos Central.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot endpoint security agents.
Monitor antivirus health, firewall status, and endpoint compliance.
Verify security policy implementation across managed devices.
Assist in malware detection, quarantine validation, and basic remediation activities.
Generate endpoint security reports and maintain security documentation.
Identify and escalate security incidents in accordance with internal processes.
What are we looking for
Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS troubleshooting, Knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
Hands-on experience in Active Directory administration.
Hands-on administration, SSO troubleshooting, application integrations, access management, and policy administration ,Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with Mac MDM solutions (Kandji, JAMF or similar).
Knowledge of laptop imaging and OS installation.
Understanding of endpoint security concepts (Antivirus, Firewall, BitLocker/FileVault).
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
Experience with ticketing tools (Jira Service Management or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support.
