How ASAI finds and checks jobs

Where jobs come from

Every job on ASAI comes from a company's own careers page. We do not collect jobs from job boards or aggregator sites.

How often we check

Each company's careers page is checked about once an hour. A job that disappears is marked closed at the check that finds it gone.

What "verified" means

A job is shown as live only if it was on the company's careers page at our most recent successful check. We then proceed to do other background checks on that job for verification.

When a job is gone from the careers page, we mark it closed. Its ASAI page stays reachable, says the role has closed, and is not offered to search engines.

We also only list a job when our title matching is confident it belongs to one of the roles we cover.

How reposts and reopenings are detected

When a job we had marked closed comes back with the same details, we record it as reopened. We store when it came back and how many times it has done so.

We keep the original posting date. A reopened job moves back up in freshness ranking, and its page shows both when it was first posted and when it was reposted.

In the repost statistics we publish, a "strict" repost is one that came back 14 or more days after it was first posted.

How Hiring Pulse is calculated

Hiring Pulse rates each company High, Medium or Low from its public posting activity. It combines three signals:

• Recency
• Consistency
• Retention

Known limits

• Coverage is the companies we track, not every tech employer in India.
• Role matching can be wrong in rare cases. Some listings land under a role they don't belong to. We are constantly improving that.
