Mobile App Developer

What we are looking for

Gram Power currently provides mobile applications for large field forces to manage power distribution infrastructure and for end consumers to

become more energy efficient through advanced energy analytics and clear visibility into their consumption patterns. We are seeking a talented software development engineer with strong cross-platform experience building mobile applications! This role will be part of Gram Power’s mobile application team and build great mobile experiences for our customers on Android and iOS.

What You Will Be Doing

• Gathering and converting business requirements from internal and external clients for various software modules of Gram Power’s platform
• Building multi-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using Flutter Development Framework
• Implementing new features on Android and iOS apps of Gram Power
• Integrating Gram Power’s apps with internal and external APIs
• Analyzing crash reports, and feedback from testing teams to release timely bug fixes
• Collecting and analyzing customer engagement data to remove or launch features in the app for enhanced customer engagement
• Keeping abreast with latest technologies for Android and iOS development
• Building wireframes and screen flows for features at the design stage to conceptualize features before dev.
• Writing readable and clear code using Dart that is extensively documented for future use and upgrades.
• Share feedback and brainstorm ideas with teams to improve the development process.

What You Should Have

• Should have 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
• 2 or more cross-platform app deployments on Play Store/App Store/Github using Flutter
• Strong experience working with third-party libraries and integrating with external APIs
• Understanding of factors impacting app performance
• Ability to write readable code, refactor old code, and generate high-quality technical documentation on architecture and feature design
• Experience with data visualization libraries.
• Demonstrable experience in creating clean and quality user interfaces cross-platform
• Knowledge of working with hardware modules like GPS, WiFi, Camera, and Bluetooth of phones using Android and iOS
• Ability to collaborate with a team and work remotely while adhering to deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of Object Oriented programming.
• Familiarity using version control tools like Git, Subversion, and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code, etc.
• Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.

Preferred

Experience working remotely and coordinating tech initiatives with different teams to deliver projects.

Worked at early stage startup or have developed projects of their own ideas.
