OpenText VIM & IC4S (OCR) Functional Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an OpenText VIM & IC4S (OCR) Functional Analyst based in India.

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to optimize enterprise invoice management processes using OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Intelligent Capture for SAP (IC4S). In this role, you will drive the configuration and maintenance of invoice processing workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless integration with SAP financial systems. You will play a key role in validating Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies to improve invoice data extraction and reduce manual intervention. Working across SAP S/4HANA, Accounts Payable, and SAP Fiori, you will help deliver reliable and user-friendly financial operations. You will also support testing, troubleshoot production issues, and translate evolving business requirements into effective functional solutions. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex application challenges and improving enterprise finance processes. The position is full-time and remote within India.

• Configure, customize, and maintain OpenText VIM workflows to streamline vendor invoice processing, approval cycles, and exception handling.

• Manage OCR validation and verification processes within IC4S to ensure accurate invoice capture, reliable data extraction, and high-quality financial information.

• Support and optimize integrations between OpenText solutions, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Accounts Payable systems to maintain seamless financial data flows.

• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario development, execution, defect tracking, and validation of functional changes.

• Provide ongoing production support by investigating incidents, troubleshooting application issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective resolutions.

• Leverage SAP Fiori applications to improve usability, streamline user interactions, and enhance the efficiency of invoice management processes.

• Analyze functional gaps and translate business needs into configuration improvements and practical system enhancements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet operational requirements and support continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT services, with relevant expertise in SAP and OpenText enterprise application environments.

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Accounts Payable processes, including vendor invoice processing and financial data management.

• Proven experience configuring, customizing, and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Intelligent Capture for SAP (IC4S) and OCR technologies, particularly invoice capture, data extraction, and validation.

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute UAT activities, document test results, manage defects, and support application releases.

• Experience providing production support for enterprise applications, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori interfaces and their use in improving business process efficiency and user experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify functional gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

• A detail-oriented and proactive approach to maintaining data accuracy, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
