Lead Full Stack Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer based in India.

This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, AI-enabled applications that create measurable business value. You will serve as a technical leader within multidisciplinary teams, turning advanced AI capabilities into secure, reliable, and production-ready software. The position combines full-stack engineering, cloud-native architecture, APIs, microservices, and modern AI technologies. You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, Platform, Data, and AI specialists to build reusable capabilities that can scale across complex enterprise environments. The role also emphasizes software engineering excellence, DevSecOps, observability, and maintainability throughout the application lifecycle. It offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise AI initiatives while shaping modern engineering practices and solutions.

• Design, build, and integrate scalable full-stack solutions using modern front-end and back-end frameworks, cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and AI technologies.
• Develop AI-enabled applications and user experiences that integrate advanced AI capabilities into business workflows, scientific processes, and enterprise solutions.
• Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms, instruments, data sources, and operational systems to create connected and scalable capabilities.
• Apply software engineering best practices and modern development methodologies to deliver secure, reliable, maintainable applications.
• Implement DevSecOps principles, CI/CD practices, and observability standards across application development and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary delivery teams and guide engineering execution toward production-ready outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Platform teams, Data specialists, AI Scientists, and AI Engineers to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable application capabilities that can be adopted and scaled across complex business environments.
• Support enterprise software modernization, digital transformation, and large-scale application development initiatives where applicable.
• Help translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, secure, and scalable applications that deliver measurable business impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated success building enterprise applications, cloud-native solutions, and AI-enabled software products.
• Strong hands-on development experience with technologies such as .NET/C#, Python, React, Angular, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, observability, and modern software engineering methodologies.
• Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to guide delivery teams and influence technical direction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple technical disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering reliable and scalable solutions.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, Enterprise Copilots, AI assistants, or Generative AI is a plus.
• Experience with data engineering, analytics platforms, cloud-native AI services, and enterprise data ecosystems is desirable.
• Previous experience delivering enterprise software modernization, digital transformation, or large-scale application initiatives in complex business environments is advantageous.
