Role Definition
This role is responsible for maintaining, validating, developing and delivering project master data used for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and project controls activities

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of equipment, piping, structural, electrical, and instrumentation data.
• Consolidate data from multiple engineering disciplines into a single project-controlled Masterlist.
• Generate and verify Material Take-Offs (MTOs) from 3D models, drawings, and engineering databases.
• Maintain revision-controlled Masterlists throughout the project life cycle. Track quantity changes arising from revisions and change requests.
• Review engineering drawings, datasheets, line lists, valve lists, equipment lists, BOMs, and MTOs to populate project Masterlists.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve data inconsistencies and technical queries.
• Provide progress reports and metrics on Masterlist completion and quality.
• Validate engineering inputs against project specifications, standards, and design documents.
• Conduct data quality checks to ensure error-free deliverables.

• Knowledge of engineering and data management tools such as Excel, Power BI, Plant 3D, Navisworks, PLM systems, and project databases.
• Support development and implementation of automation tools
• Knowledge of piping systems with relevant specifications, codes, and standards such as ASME B 31.3 AND B 31.8.

Degree Requirement
Degree required – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

MTech/BE/B.Tech/ in Mechanical Engineering from accredited Engineering Institute with 10-12 years of Oil and Gas/ Power Plant Experience.

Software: Knowledge of the types, features and tools of 3D software & PLM software, ability to use, test and upgrade the software package in the process.

•  Knowledge of 3D software like Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage/freedom, Autodesk Inventor.

• Knowledge of PLM software like Windchill and Synergies Adept.
• Helps others to install and maintain software.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in the development environment.
Level Basic Understanding: 
•  Explains where to locate basic help facilities and troubleshooting guides.
•  Discusses basic concepts behind a systematic approach to solving technical problems.

Candidate should Well Versed with Oil and gas EPC projects with exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
