As a Data Delivery Leads / Data Architects - Manager you will lead data engineering work that designs and builds data infrastructure, pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights for clients. As a Manager you will motivate and develop teams, coach team members, manage performance, and take ownership of planning, budgeting, execution, and completion across multiple workstreams within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. In this role at PwC, you will guide delivery across complex data solutions, apply technology and innovation to improve outcomes, and navigate client needs while maintaining quality, timelines, and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading data engineering workstreams for client delivery, guiding teams through planning, design, build, and deployment activities
- Directing the development of data pipelines, integration patterns, and transformation logic across cloud and hybrid environments
- Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while balancing multiple client priorities
- Reviewing data architecture approaches, modeling decisions, and technical designs to support scalable data platforms
- Applying tools and platforms such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure Databricks to build and refine solutions
- Translating business needs into data architecture strategies that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
- Coaching team members on data engineering methods, problem solving, and delivery practices
- Validating data quality, performance tuning, query optimization, and database administration activities across delivery work
- Identifying risks, dependencies, and implementation issues early in the delivery cycle and escalating when needed
- Supporting client discussions on data strategy, platform modernization, and data governance topics
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Leading data delivery workstreams across client-facing engagements
- Architecting data solutions spanning pipelines, modeling, and integration
- Managing project planning, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring teams while reviewing work to deepen skills
- Applying cloud platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Data Factory
