Lead Engineer - Network Security

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and secure enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in network administration, routing & switching, firewall management, datacenter networking, and network security technologies. The role requires troubleshooting complex network issues, ensuring network availability, and implementing security best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN/LAN environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
• Administer and secure network security devices including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or similar technologies.
• Implement network security policies, access controls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation strategies.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform capacity planning.
• Support datacenter network operations including core switching, redundancy, and high availability.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, security audits, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues.
• Collaborate with security, server, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support business operations.
• Prepare network documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network/security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Required Qualifications
