Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Appian Design & Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform. The role requires strong expertise in BPM, workflow automation, case management, and integrations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Appian solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop applications using Appian SAIL, Process Models, and Records.
Analyze business requirements and create technical designs and solution architectures.
Build and manage complex workflows, business rules, and case management solutions.
Develop Appian interfaces using best UX and performance practices.
Integrate Appian with external systems using REST, SOAP, Web APIs, and Integration Objects.
Implement security, role-based access control, and data-level permissions.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of Appian applications.
Support deployment, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines for Appian.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior Appian developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Appian design and development.
Strong expertise in:
Appian SAIL interfaces
Process Models & BPMN
Records, Data Stores, and CDTs
Hands-on experience with Appian integrations (REST/SOAP).
Strong understanding of BPM, workflow automation, and case management concepts.
Experience with Appian security model and user/role management.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
Experience with Appian RPA.
Exposure to cloud deployments (Appian Cloud / AWS / Azure).
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
Appian Certifications:
Appian Certified Associate Developer
Appian Certified Senior Developer
Domain experience in BFSI, Insurance, Healthcare, or Telecom.
