Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role involves working with structured and unstructured data, enabling reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for enterprise analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on Azure
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
Develop and maintain data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure SQL / Azure Data Lake
Implement data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming sources)
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization
Work closely with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders
Support deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data pipelines
Follow best practices around security, governance, and cost optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–8 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with strong Azure exposure
Hands-on experience with:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)
Azure Synapse Analytics
Strong skills in SQL and Python / PySpark
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Experience working in Agile environments
