Job Description: Engineer | Production

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of data loggers, multiplexers, and various interface modules as per sales orders.
• Procure raw materials and coordinate with internal stakeholders to address material shortages.
• Carry out testing, calibration, and site support activities for accelerometers and other geotechnical instruments.
• Ensure timely rectification of in-process faults and implement corrective actions to minimize product rejections.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and other departments for smooth execution of production activities.
• Perform in-house installation and long-term testing of geotechnical sensors and monitoring equipment.
• Provide technical support at customer sites whenever required.
• Maintain accurate production records, testing reports, and technical documentation.
• Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines during production and testing activities.

Key Deliverables:

• Timely assembly and testing of products as per production schedules.
• Reduction in production defects and rejection rates through effective troubleshooting.
• Accurate testing and validation of geotechnical instruments before dispatch.
• Timely procurement coordination to avoid production delays.
• Effective cross-functional coordination for uninterrupted production operations.
• Successful completion of installation and site support activities.
• Compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in production, testing, or instrumentation are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and instrumentation.
• Understanding of assembly and testing of electronic or electro-mechanical products.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for electronic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as multimeters and testing equipment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of quality control and production processes will be an added advantage.
