SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant
Experience: 6 – 8 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP EWM solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to optimize warehouse processes, integrate EWM with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Implementation & Configuration
Lead or support end-to-end SAP EWM implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
Configure warehouse structure (warehouse number, storage types, sections, bins).
Configure and manage Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse processes:
Goods Receipt & Goods Issue
Putaway & Picking strategies
Packing, staging, and shipping
Replenishment and slotting
Configure Handling Units (HU), packaging specifications, and RF framework.
🔹 Integration & Technical Exposure
Integrate SAP EWM with:
SAP S/4HANA or ECC
SAP TM, SAP MM, SAP SD
Work with CIF integration, queues (qRFC), IDocs, and monitoring tools.
Collaborate with ABAP teams for enhancements, reports, and forms.
🔹 Testing & Support
Prepare and execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and cutover activities.
Provide post-go-live support, incident resolution, and continuous improvements.
Analyze and resolve warehouse execution issues and performance bottlenecks.
🔹 Documentation & Stakeholder Management
Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documents, and test scripts.
Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer.
Work closely with business users, warehouse operations teams, and project managers.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
6–8 years of SAP EWM experience with strong functional knowledge.
Hands-on experience with:
Inbound / Outbound delivery processing
Putaway, Picking, Replenishment
HU management
Warehouse Monitor
Strong understanding of warehouse business processes.
Experience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM or Decentralized EWM.
