Job description
Microsoft 365 Implementation Plan, design, and implement Microsoft 365 environments for enterprise customers. Assess existing on-premises and cloud environments and develop M365 adoption and migration strategies. Configure Microsoft 365 tenant settings and organizational policies. Establish Microsoft 365 governance, administration, and operational standards. Implement Microsoft 365 workloads based on business and technical requirements. Develop implementation plans, migration plans, test plans, and deployment runbooks. Perform tenant configuration, workload onboarding, testing, and production rollout. Troubleshoot M365 implementation and operational issues. 2. Exchange Online Design and implement Exchange Online. Perform Exchange Online migrations from on-premises Exchange environments. Support: Hybrid Exchange Cutover migration Staged migration IMAP migration PST migration Configure Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, distribution groups, and mail-enabled security groups. Configure mail flow and connectors. Manage accepted domains and DNS records. Configure Exchange Online Protection. Troubleshoot mail delivery, authentication, and mailbox issues. Configure retention and mailbox policies. Support migration from third-party email platforms to Exchange Online. 3. Microsoft Entra ID / Identity Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID. Configure users, groups, administrative roles, and enterprise applications. Implement identity synchronization using Microsoft Entra Connect / Cloud Sync. Configure authentication and identity policies. Support: SSO MFA Conditional Access Self-Service Password Reset Application registrations Enterprise applications Manage privileged administrative access. Troubleshoot identity synchronization and authentication issues. Support Active Directory to Entra ID integration and modernization. 4. Microsoft Teams Design and implement Microsoft Teams environments. Configure Teams policies and governance. Manage teams, channels, users, guest access, and external access. Configure Teams meeting and messaging policies. Implement Teams Phone and voice capabilities where required. Configure calling policies and dial plans. Support Teams migration and adoption. Troubleshoot Teams meeting, audio, video, calling, and collaboration issues. Integrate Teams with Microsoft 365 applications and third-party solutions. 5. SharePoint Online Design and implement SharePoint Online. Migrate file shares and legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online. Configure SharePoint sites, site collections, libraries, lists, and permissions. Implement SharePoint governance and information architecture. Configure sharing and external collaboration. Support SharePoint Online integration with Microsoft Teams. Troubleshoot SharePoint permissions, synchronization, and access issues. 6. OneDrive for Business Implement and manage OneDrive for Business. Migrate user data from file servers and legacy platforms. Configure OneDrive policies and synchronization settings. Manage sharing and collaboration controls. Troubleshoot OneDrive synchronization and access issues. Support enterprise OneDrive deployment and adoption. 7. Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management Implement Microsoft Intune for enterprise endpoint management. Enroll Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices where applicable. Configure: Device compliance policies Configuration profiles Security policies Application deployment Windows Update policies Endpoint restrictions Implement Microsoft Entra joined and hybrid-joined devices. Configure Windows Autopilot. Support endpoint migration from traditional management platforms to Intune. Integrate Intune with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Troubleshoot device enrollment, compliance, application, and policy issues. 8. Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Work closely with security and compliance teams to implement M365 security controls, including: Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention Sensitivity Labels Retention Policies Microsoft 365 Audit eDiscovery Conditional Access MFA Secure Score Configure and maintain appropriate security and compliance policies based on organizational requirements. 9. Microsoft 365 Migration Lead or participate in enterprise M365 migration projects. Responsibilities include: Current-state assessment Tenant readiness assessment Migration planning User and workload inventory Dependency analysis Migration wave planning Pilot migration User acceptance testing Production migration Post-migration validation Migration issue remediation Experience migrating the following is preferred: Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Teams File servers Active Directory Legacy collaboration platforms Third-party email platforms 10. Microsoft 365 Administration & Operations Monitor Microsoft 365 service health. Manage Microsoft 365 users, licenses, groups, and administrative roles. Troubleshoot production issues and service incidents. Manage Microsoft 365 licenses and identify optimization opportunities. Develop operational procedures and runbooks. Implement monitoring and reporting. Manage Microsoft 365 service requests and incidents. Work with Microsoft Support on complex technical issues. Maintain documentation for M365 architecture and configurations. 11. Automation Automate repetitive Microsoft 365 administration activities using: PowerShell Microsoft Graph API Azure Automation Power Automate Microsoft Graph SDK Develop scripts for: User provisioning License assignment Group management Mailbox management Reporting Compliance checks M365 configuration Bulk administration Required Technical Skills Microsoft 365 Strong hands-on experience with: Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business Microsoft Teams Microsoft Entra ID Microsoft Intune Microsoft 365 Admin Center Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Microsoft Purview Identity Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID Entra Connect / Cloud Sync SSO MFA Conditional Access RBAC Enterprise Applications Migration Exchange migrations SharePoint migrations File server migrations OneDrive migrations Tenant-to-tenant migrations Hybrid environments Migration tools and methodologies Automation PowerShell Microsoft Graph API Azure Automation Power Automate
