Job Title: SAP ABAP for HANA Consultant
Experience: 5–8 Years
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP for HANA development. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building high-performance applications optimized for HANA database architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize custom programs using ABAP for HANA.
Design and develop:
CDS Views (Core Data Services)
AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
OData Services
HANA optimized reports
Convert classical ABAP programs to HANA-optimized code.
Perform performance tuning using SQL trace, runtime analysis, and code pushdown techniques.
Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
Develop enhancements using BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework.
Work with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Support Fiori/UI5 backend services.
Participate in S/4HANA migration and code remediation activities.
Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and support SIT/UAT phases.
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of strong SAP ABAP development experience.
Hands-on expertise in ABAP for HANA concepts.
Strong knowledge of:
CDS Views
AMDP
Code Pushdown techniques
Open SQL enhancements
HANA Performance Optimization
Experience in at least 1 SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good understanding of SAP functional modules (FI, MM, SD).
