Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Python scripting and automation testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in testing data engineering pipelines and software applications, along with exposure to AWS cloud environments and CI/CD processes.
Technical Competencies
Must-Have Skills
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Experience in testing data engineering pipelines and software applications.
Strong programming/scripting experience in Python.
Working knowledge of pytest or other Python testing frameworks.
Experience working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
Amazon S3
Amazon ECS
Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Basic understanding of containerization tools like Docker.
Experience with CI/CD processes.
Clear understanding of defect lifecycle, reporting, and issue tracking using Jira.
Strong collaboration skills with ownership mindset.
Experience working in Agile methodology and Scrum ceremonies.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with version control systems such as:
Git
Bitbucket
GitHub
GitLab
Working knowledge of API testing, backend validations, and functional automation.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Basic understanding of Java fundamentals.
