Servicenow HRSD developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow HRSD Developer based in India.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer with strong expertise in Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) to design, build, and maintain scalable HR technology solutions. In this role, you will develop and configure HR services, employee-facing portals, case management capabilities, and lifecycle workflows that streamline HR operations and improve the employee experience. You will leverage ServiceNow scripting, automation tools, and integration technologies to connect HR platforms with external enterprise systems. Working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders, you will translate requirements into reliable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. • Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow HRSD solutions in line with business requirements and technical best practices.

• Implement and support core HRSD capabilities, including HR Case Management, Employee Center, HR Services, and Lifecycle Events.

• Configure and customize Service Catalog components, including catalog items, record producers, and HR service offerings.

• Design and automate HR workflows using Flow Designer to improve process efficiency and employee service delivery.

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with external systems using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Translate HR business requirements into scalable technical solutions that support effective and consistent HR processes.

• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting HRSD applications, workflows, integrations, and platform functionality.

• Collaborate with functional teams, technical colleagues, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with organizational needs.

• Follow ServiceNow development standards, coding best practices, and upgrade-safe customization principles to ensure maintainability and platform stability.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance existing HRSD functionality, automation, and integration performance.

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of overall ServiceNow development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in HR Service Delivery.

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow HRSD solutions.

• Strong knowledge of HR Case Management, Employee Center, HR Services, Lifecycle Events, Service Catalog, and related HRSD capabilities.

• Practical experience using Flow Designer to build and maintain workflows and automated business processes.

• Experience with IntegrationHub and developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.

• Strong JavaScript development skills and hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform configuration, scripting, workflow development, and system integrations.

• Ability to independently manage development tasks from requirements analysis and solution design through testing, deployment, and support.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Commitment to coding standards, maintainable development practices, and upgrade-safe ServiceNow customizations.

• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• Preferred: ServiceNow HRSD certification and practical HRSD implementation experience.

• Preferred: Experience delivering end-to-end HRSD implementations.

• Preferred: Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar enterprise systems.
