OpenText Exstream – E2
Job Description
Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced OpenText Exstream (E2 Level) Consultant with strong expertise in customer communications management (CCM) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing document composition and customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream.
Experience Required:
6–8 Years relevant experience in OpenText Exstream / CCM projects
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop document templates using OpenText Exstream Designer
Create and manage complex customer communication templates (statements, invoices, policies, letters, etc.)
Implement dynamic content, conditional logic, and personalization
Work on data mapping and integration with upstream systems
Troubleshoot document rendering and performance issues
Support batch and on-demand document generation processes
Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
Collaborate with business and functional teams for requirement gathering
Participate in release management and deployment activities
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in OpenText Exstream Designer & Runtime Engine
Experience in:
Template design and layout management
Data mapping & XML/XSD handling
Output formats (PDF, HTML, Print streams)
Knowledge of CCM concepts and document workflows
Understanding of SQL & data integration concepts
Experience in Linux/Windows environments
Version control and deployment knowledge
Preferred Skills
Exposure to OpenText Exstream Cloud or upgrades
Experience in Banking, Insurance, or Telecom domain
Knowledge of Java/.NET integration (added advantage)
Familiarity with CI/CD processes
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Stakeholder communication skills
Mentoring junior developers
