Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build reliable and high-performance data platforms.
Experience Required:
4–8 Years in Data Engineering
3+ Years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Services
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Databricks
Build and manage data storage solutions using:
Azure Data Lake Storage
Azure Synapse Analytics
Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models
Implement data transformation using PySpark / Spark SQL
Ensure data quality, validation, and performance tuning
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, RDBMS, flat files, streaming sources)
Support reporting and analytics teams with curated datasets
Work in Agile delivery model and participate in sprint planning
Required Technical Skills
Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory pipelines
Experience with Azure Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
Experience with Azure Synapse or SQL Data Warehouse
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
Basic knowledge of Python for data engineering
