Mobile Automation Test Engineer â iOS & Android
(Playwright | Real Devices & Emulators/Simulators)
Responsibilities
Extend and enhance automated mobile UI tests using /Playwright for iOS and Android platforms (real devices and emulators/simulators)
Author, execute, and maintain multiâendpoint endâtoâend (E2E) test scenarios covering critical mobile user journeys
Integrate and run automation as part of CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
Collaborate closely with Redmond engineering teams to ensure adequate test coverage and support release gates
Participate in code reviews, automation design discussions, and firstâlevel validation of mobile builds
Analyze test failures, identify flaky tests, and improve test stability and reliability
Support diagnostics and validation using platformâspecific tools and logs during mobile test execution
Skills Required
Strong handsâon experience with Appium/Selenium/Playwright for mobile automation (iOS & Android)
Experience working with real devices and emulators/simulators
Proficiency in Python , with knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
Understanding of frontend automation concepts and mobile UI behaviours
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test execution gates, and release validation
Ability to work with diagnostic and debugging tools
Experience collaborating across distributed teams and time zones
REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience with mobileâspecific challenges such as animations, gestures, network conditions, and flaky UI elements
