Azure Data Engineer – ADF & Databricks
Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks. The candidate must have solid expertise in PL/SQL and Azure cloud services, and should be ready to work from the Bangalore client location.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Develop data transformation workflows using Azure Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL)
Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries and stored procedures
Integrate data from multiple sources (RDBMS, APIs, flat files, cloud storage)
Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance
Work closely with business stakeholders and analytics teams
Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
Support production deployments and provide ongoing maintenance
Technical Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in ADF pipeline creation and orchestration
Expertise in Azure Databricks (data processing & transformation)
Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL development and performance tuning
Experience working on Azure Data Lake / Blob Storage
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience in CI/CD and version control
