Job Title: Performance Test Engineer
Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
Location: PAN India
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, NFR analysis, and stakeholder facilitation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying performance requirements, designing test strategies, executing load tests, analyzing results, and providing actionable performance recommendations.
Key Technical Skills
Performance Testing Tools
Hands-on experience with:
Apache JMeter
BlazeMeter
Good to have: Micro Focus LoadRunner
Strong scripting capabilities for designing complex test scenarios
NFR & SLA Requirement Gathering
Ability to identify and recommend NFR requirements based on product specifications
Experience in facilitating discussions with stakeholders to define:
Response time targets
Throughput / Transactions per second
Concurrent user load
CPU utilization
Memory consumption
Disk & network utilization
Thread counts
Connection pooling
Cache hit ratios
Documenting performance SLAs and expectations
Test Design & Execution
Design, develop, and execute performance test cases and NFR scenarios
Workload modelling and capacity planning
End-to-end performance lifecycle management
Monitoring & Analysis
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as:
Datadog
AppDynamics
Windows PerfMon
Ability to analyze test results and derive meaningful conclusions
Perform root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve bottlenecks
Key Responsibilities
Elicit and document performance-related requirements from stakeholders
Develop and execute performance test scripts and scenarios
Conduct load, stress, spike, and endurance testing
Analyze results and provide optimization recommendations
Collaborate with project teams and developers to resolve performance issues
Prepare performance reports and executive summaries
Provide guidance on performance best practices
