We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support robust data integration solutions. The role involves extracting financial and operational data from enterprise source systems and delivering accurate, reliable data to analytics platforms and external vendors.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL/ELT, SQL, batch processing, data mapping, transformation, data quality, reconciliation, and production support, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain data integration and ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise source systems.

Analyze source-system structures and define source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, validations, and business rules.

Develop automated processes for data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and file generation.

Build and maintain reliable scheduled batch jobs and recurring data pipelines.

Implement data quality checks, control totals, exception handling, and reconciliation processes.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Owners, vendors, and engineering teams to understand and validate integration requirements.

Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and data-output validation.

Investigate data discrepancies, production issues, and integration failures; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments.

Optimize data extraction and transformation processes for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Monitor production jobs and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of critical data feeds.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications, mapping documents, transformation rules, and operational support procedures.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Data Integration, ETL/ELT, batch processing, and scheduled data delivery.

Strong proficiency in SQL.

Experience working with enterprise data sources, file-based integrations, and analytics/data platforms.

Ability to understand source-system structures and implement source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.

Strong experience in data quality validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and root-cause analysis.

Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production deployments, and defect resolution.

Experience creating interface specifications, mapping documents, transformation rules, and support procedures.

Strong stakeholder-management and collaboration skills across Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Owners, vendors, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience working with financial services data, such as:

Brokerage

Wealth Management

Cash Management

Deposits

Banking

Experience with financial data reconciliation and validation.

Knowledge of data governance, auditability, security, and regulatory controls for financial data.

Experience monitoring and supporting time-sensitive production data feeds and batch jobs.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Prior experience in financial services data integration is strongly preferred.
