Job Title: SAP Basis & Security Technical Consultant
Experience: 5–10 Years
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis & Security Technical Consultant to manage and support SAP landscapes, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. The candidate will be responsible for Basis administration, user access management, and implementation of SAP security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Handle system refreshes, client copies, and transport management (STMS)
Manage upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and support pack implementations
Ensure high availability, backups, and disaster recovery processes
SAP Security:
Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations
Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and access controls
Perform periodic user access reviews and audit compliance checks
Implement Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls and mitigation strategies
Support internal and external audits (SOX, GDPR, etc.)
System Governance & Compliance:
Maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
Monitor and resolve security vulnerabilities and risks
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Collaboration & Support:
Work with functional and technical teams for issue resolution
Provide L2/L3 support for Basis and Security-related incidents
Coordinate with infrastructure teams for OS/DB-related activities
Required Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration
Expertise in SAP Security & Authorizations
Experience with SAP ECC / S/4HANA / BW systems
Knowledge of HANA DB administration
Familiarity with transport management system (TMS)
Experience in user and role management (PFCG, SU01, SUIM)
Understanding of SoD, GRC Access Control
