Job description

We are looking for a Junior Builder who is ready to graduate from "Tutorial Hell" to real-world engineering. At KoiReader, you won't be fetching coffee; you will be debugging live Python applications, and keeping our AI infrastructure running. This is an intensive internship designed to train you in the art of building and maintaining production-grade software for the Industrial AI sector.

Key Responsibilities

Production Debugging: Act as the first line of defense. Analyze logs, troubleshoot Python scripts, and fix bugs in our core applications. You will learn how to diagnose issues that only happen in the "real world."

Application Support: Collaborate with the Development and QA teams to resolve technical issues swiftly. You ensure the code runs smoothly on our hardware.

Code Optimization: Don't just make it work; make it fast. Assist in optimizing Python scripts for performance and reliability.

Knowledge Engineering: Document bugs, fixes, and technical processes. You will build the "Knowledge Base" that helps the whole team move faster.

Proactive Ownership: We value loud communication. Proactively report issues, share updates without being asked, and seek help when you hit a wall.

Skills & Requirements

Python Proficiency: Strong grasp of Python fundamentals. Familiarity with libraries like Flask, FastAPI, Pandas, and NumPy is essential.

Problem Solving: Logical thinking is a must. You enjoy the detective work of figuring out why code is breaking.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. You can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical team members.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git. You know how to commit, push, and pull code.

Brownie Points

Vision Tech: Exposure to OpenCV or basic image processing techniques.

API Knowledge: Basic understanding of REST APIs and WebSockets.

Infrastructure: Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments.

Data: Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.

What We Offer

Real Mentorship: Work directly with senior engineers on live projects in the logistics and supply chain domain.

The Playground: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Hardware and cutting-edge AI tools.

Meritocracy: A candid startup culture where the best ideas win, regardless of experience level.
