Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer (React + Python/FastAPI)

Role Summary
We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Web Developer to support the modernization of one of bp’s internal applications. The role requires strong frontend expertise using React and modern UI design principles, combined with solid backend development experience using Python (FastAPI).
The developer will help convert an existing Python-based GUI into a modern web application integrated with a PostgreSQL database. Exposure to tools like Streamlit, Node.js, or deployment technologies such as Gunicorn will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Convert an existing Python-based GUI into a modern web-based application
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React and modern UI design principles
Build and maintain backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
Design and manage database interactions using PostgreSQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable application features
Deploy and maintain web applications in production environments
Support multiple initiatives and deliver within project timelines
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in React and JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on backend development using Python (FastAPI)
Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
Familiarity with API development and web application architecture
Strong understanding of modern UI design principles
