Role Overview
We are seeking an Apache NiFi Administrator with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of NiFi environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building data ingestion workflows, managing NiFi clusters, and supporting production environments with high-volume data processing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Apache NiFi environments.
Configure and maintain NiFi clusters and ensure high availability.
Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and pipeline flows using NiFi and NiFi Registry.
Perform NiFi diagnostics, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Configure ports, security, and encryption settings.
Manage user authorization and multi-tenant authorization.
Optimize and tune NiFi workflows for improved performance.
Perform performance tuning for high-volume and high-velocity data processing.
Support production environments and handle large-scale datasets (multiple TBs).
Monitor system performance and implement best practices.
Work closely with development and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Maintain documentation and operational procedures.
Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)
Strong experience in:
Apache NiFi Installation and Configuration
NiFi Upgradation and Maintenance
NiFi Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
NiFi Clustering Configuration
Port Configuration and Security Setup
User Authorization & Multi-Tenant Authorization
Encryption Configuration
Experience in maintaining custom NiFi processors.
Experience building data ingestion workflows using NiFi and NiFi Registry.
Experience with high-volume data processing (multiple TBs).
Experience in NiFi performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of security principles and methods.
Experience working in production support environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with:
Apache Kafka
StreamSets
Big Data technologies
Experience in real-time replication using Kafka.
Exposure to DevOps environments.
Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role
Maintain and configure NiFi clusters efficiently.
Optimize and tune NiFi workflows for better performance.
Handle large-scale data ingestion workflows.
Ensure secure configuration including:
Security Configuration
Encryption
User Authorization

Follow best practices and enterprise standards.
Provide ongoing administration and operational support.
