Job Description: SAP S/4HANA BODS Data Migration Consultant
Role: SAP S/4HANA BODS Data Migration Consultant

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA BODS Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration. The candidate will be responsible for executing end-to-end data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading during SAP implementation or conversion projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end SAP data migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services).
Design and develop ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Analyze legacy data sources and perform data profiling and cleansing.
Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents.
Develop data migration objects for Master Data and Transactional Data.
Execute data migration cycles, including:
Data Extraction
Data Transformation
Data Load
Data Validation
Data Reconciliation
Work with Functional Consultants to validate migrated data.
Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and target systems.
Troubleshoot data migration issues and optimize performance.
Support Mock Runs, Integration Testing, and Cutover activities.
Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards.
Document migration processes and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills
Strong experience in SAP BODS (SAP Data Services).
Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA data migration.
Expertise in ETL development and data transformation logic.
Experience with LSMW / Migration Cockpit / LTMC / LTMOM (added advantage).
Strong knowledge of:
SAP Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Material)
Transactional Data (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Finance Data)
Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
Experience in data reconciliation and validation techniques.
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures.
Knowledge of data cleansing and data quality tools.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit.
Exposure to SAP Information Steward.
Knowledge of ABAP debugging (basic level preferred).
Experience in Brownfield / Greenfield / Landscape Transformation projects.
Familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
Experience working in Agile or Hybrid project environments.
