Job Description: SAP MDG Tester – Vendor Master
Role: SAP MDG Tester – Vendor Master
Experience: 6+ Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Tester with strong expertise in Vendor Master Data within SAP Master Data Governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating vendor master data processes, ensuring data accuracy, workflow validation, and supporting end-to-end testing activities in SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional and integration testing for Vendor Master Data in SAP Master Data Governance.
Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for vendor master processes.
Validate vendor creation, change, and approval workflows.
Perform Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
Validate data quality rules, duplicate checks, and business validations.
Conduct data migration validation for Vendor Master records.
Perform regression testing during system upgrades and enhancements.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements.
Log, track, and resolve defects using defect management tools.
Prepare test reports, defect logs, and testing documentation.
Support cutover activities and post-go-live validation.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance testing.
Experience in Vendor Master Data processes.
Knowledge of:
Vendor onboarding workflows
Vendor approval processes
Vendor data validation rules
Hands-on experience in:
Functional Testing
Integration Testing
Regression Testing
UAT Support
Understanding of data migration validation.
Experience in test case creation and execution.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Strong understanding of SAP Master Data lifecycle.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
Exposure to Business Partner (BP) integration with Vendor Master.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks.
Experience with automation testing tools (good to have).
Understanding of MDG workflows and BRF+ rules.
Exposure to Fiori-based MDG applications.
