Job Description: JavaScript-Playwright
Role: JavaScript-Playwright
Experience: 5+ Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript and hands-on experience using Playwright for web application automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks to ensure product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing frameworks.
Perform UI, API, and regression testing for web applications.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to understand testing requirements.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
Debug and troubleshoot automation issues.
Maintain reusable test libraries and utilities.
Ensure proper test coverage and maintain test documentation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript.
Minimum 5+ years in test automation.
Proven experience with Playwright.
Experience in:
UI Automation Testing
API Automation Testing
Regression Testing
Knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM).
Hands-on experience with:
Test frameworks (e.g., Playwright Test Runner)
Version control tools (Git)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
Jenkins
GitHub Actions
Azure DevOps
Experience with cross-browser testing.
Preferred Skills
Experience with TypeScript.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as:
Postman
Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
Understanding of performance testing basics.
Experience with Docker containers (good to have).
Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
