Job description

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic SRE Intern to join the Site Reliability Engineering team at

UNI. You will work with experienced engineers on cloud infrastructure, automation,

monitoring, reliability, and troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for someone interested in cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, and production

systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with Kubernetes environments and troubleshooting.

* Work with AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure.

* Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

* Work with Docker, Helm, and Argo CD.

* Assist with deployments, configuration, and release activities.

* Monitor applications using Grafana and observability tools.

* Investigate alerts and help with root-cause analysis.

* Write scripts and automation to reduce manual work.

* Work with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.

* Maintain runbooks and technical documentation.

* Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

Requirements:

* Basic knowledge of Linux and command line.

* Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.

* Understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, ports, and load

balancing.

* Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar.

Basic understanding of Docker and containers.

* Willingness to learn cloud and DevOps technologies.

What we Expect:

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.

* Curiosity and willingness to learn.

* Ability to debug issues systematically.

* Good communication and collaboration skills.

* Interest in cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering.

Good to Have:

* AWS/GCP knowledge.

* Exposure to Kubernetes.

* Basic knowledge of Terraform, Helm, or GitHub Actions.

* Understanding of CI/CD.

* Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

* Any hands-on cloud, Kubernetes, or automation project.
