Job description
Technical Consultant - Entuity
- Deploy, configure and manage Entuity Network Analytics at enterprise scale
- Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and load balancers
- Configure polling, thresholds, alerts, dashboards and reports
- Carry out root cause analysis for network and performance issues
- Integrate Entuity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and BMC Remedy
- Monitor through SNMP, ICMP, Syslog and REST APIs, including SD-WAN controller platforms
- Design and build API-based data ingestion and automation
- Tune alerts to cut noise and make monitoring more useful
- Support capacity planning, SLA reporting, upgrades and health checks
- Hands-on experience with Entuity Network Analytics
- Strong root cause analysis and network troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SNMP, ICMP, Syslog and REST APIs
- Experience integrating monitoring platforms with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy
- Hybrid or cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Other monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, Netcool, Dynatrace or ThousandEyes
- ITIL, SD-WAN, Cisco or Meraki certifications
- Enterprise-scale network monitoring across wired, wireless and SD-WAN
- Integration and automation work with ITSM tools and APIs, not just dashboards
